Power Outage

I have to step back from politics for a bit. Seems like everyone is getting a little crazy in that department. So, how’re my Red Sox doing? Lousy.

Management decided to go with run-prevention when they couldn’t sign any of the big hitters during the offseason. That’s not working out so well. Theo’s goal for constructing a team is to have at least above-average players at every position. Right now, we only have three: Pedroia, Youkilis, and Martinez.

Drew and Ortiz have been abysmal, and those were two guys we expected to rely on for power.

Is it Theo’s fault? Should Tito be looking for a new job? Or is this just going to be a one-year dip?
